Can you all believe that Thanksgiving is going to be here in exactly 2 weeks?? I can’t and then it is Christmas which I can’t even begin to imagine. Where did the year 2017 go is what I am still trying to figure out! I am not one that has already put out Christmas decorations in my apartment yet, but I do have some shopping that I have crossed off my list. The November weather gives me all of the feels and I still want to wear shades of orange, cream and tans like with this look. This year for Thanksgiving we will be spending it at my aunt’s house in East Texas. If we don’t go and see extended family my mom normally will host it. One day when I have a house and family I would love to host it. As of now the only thing that I would be hosting is a Friendsgiving and even that would be questionable because I am not that great in the kitchen, but trying to get better every day. When you host an event and something as special as Thanksgiving, I think it is nice to lean more on the dressy side for your outfit. Granted you will be in the kitchen a lot, but only put your outfit on when you are ready to serve and ready to indulge in some wine.

Last year I featured an even more elegant look to host Thanksgiving in. This year I am all about dressy rompers, and when I got this from Bevello I knew that it would be perfect for this holiday. The fall colors are what immediately stuck out to me when I saw this romper. Then I realized they were velvet too and I knew I had to have it. Velvet is everywhere right now from my top that I have worn lately to this incredible romper. I love the neckline of this romper too and the plunge which gives it a little unexpected twist. If you are hosting Thanksgiving I would wear a more dressy outfit like this. This is probably one of the dressiest rompers I have seen and I love it because it is still shorts. You could always switch to black flats if the heels would be too much for the whole day. Keep your accessories simple, because all eyes will be on this great quality romper!
