Happy almost Friday everyone! Have you all started shopping for fall clothes yet? I went this week and got several cute sweaters with some pants and a tweed skirt that I can’t wait to show you. Fall is for sure my favorite season because not only is it my birthday, but there is something in the crisp air that I just love during that time of year. I am still holding onto some of my summer clothes though and trying to get them to go into fall as well. This floral 2 piece outfit is what I got to wear to Chicago for the Blog Societies Conference last month. A lot of people thought that it was a a jumpsuit, but it is 2 pieces which makes it even better for mixing and matching. I have already worn the top several times with skinny jeans and leather shorts when I went to Nashville a couple of weeks ago. Pieces like this can go with so much and literally work for every season. I can see myself wearing this top again with a black leather jacket draped over it and some ripped denim and booties.
I loved having the cooler weather in Chicago and am so glad that it is getting a little cooler in Houston now finally. Yesterday I was shooting a couple of fall looks with some new sweaters that I can’t wait to show you, and was so glad that I was not burning up. These pants are also going to go with so much in the fall. After seeing everyone that went to New York Fashion Week this past week, it still looks like floral will be here to stay. I would love to wear these with an oversized black sweater and some black booties. I can’t forget about my favorite bag that I have been carrying around since July. This bag will also go into fall with me because of the snakeskin and neutral color. I am all about neutrals that you can wear throughout the year. What really caught my eye was the fringe on the shoulder strap and I was sold. This weekend I will be going to a friend’s charity shrimp boil and then hopefully the Zach Brown Band concert which will be a lot of fun. I hope you all have a great rest of your week!
