It finally feels like Spring here in Houston. Can we say it has been a gorgeous last couple of days here with this weather!! I was out all weekend just enjoying the sunshine and the temperatures before they get way too hot that it feels unbearable. I also went to the rodeo one last time this weekend which is always bitter sweet because it is the most fun time of the year. One thing that I feel like every girl was wearing was of course the off the shoulder top. I still love it as you can see in this post and this post. I think it is a style top that finally looks good on everyone and gives everyone that little romantic feel to it. I have worn my off the shoulder tops with shorts, skinny jeans,  and most recently these frayed denim jeans which I am obsessed with. In my opinion it is all about mixing the styles up to create different looks.

What I love about this outfit is the mix of classic with extra trendy. There is the classic top with the fabric that just screams Spring. It is all about the detailing with the ties on the wrists. A little embellishment that makes this whole look so girly. A lot of the times for me you can completely change the outfit by mixing your accessories and these frayed denim and the metallic bag gives it that next level approach. Metallic is so big right now between mules or your handbag. Since I don’t clean out my closet a lot I find things that I have had for a couple of years that come back in style later like my metallic flats are doing now. With frayed denim though, I find that a great new approach to denim and I am still loving it. I just did a little bit of retail therapy last night so be on the lookout for some fun new pieces in ruffles, blush, and mules. I hope you all have a great day!
