July 4th is already next week, which seems so crazy to think about. It seems like we were just celebrating it last year. This is one of those holidays that is the last one for a couple of months until the Fall time. Other than Labor Day, it is one of those glorious holidays in the Summer that then means that Summer is coming to an end. I feel like it is just the beginning for me. I have always been jealous of my teacher friends for having the whole Summer off and being able to celebrate holidays like these, without worrying about having to go to work the next day. This year since I am currently in France I do feel like I get to enjoy a little bit of a “holiday”. July 4th is one of my favorite holidays after Halloween and Christmas. It is one of those holidays that is casual, has great great food,  great drinks, and who doesn’t love celebrating America after all.

This July 4th bar cart styling is such an easy way to entertain and bring in a little bit of decor that has the red, white, and blue. When I have people over, I think the easiest way to decorate is to bring out your bar cart and decorate it. You are already going to be having drinks on it, so why not add some food and a cake as well. Some simple snacks to always have on hand is cheese and crackers. If you want to bring in a little festive look but still be simple, I recommend making a lemon berry cake that I did here and add some blueberries on top. A snack that was a hit was simply putting tomatoes, mozzarella, mint, and balsamic vinegar together for an easy snack. You should always have festive napkins and there are so many cute ones out there, that I always try to have these on hand for whatever event I have. An easy strawberry punch with mint makes it festive and is oh so yummy as well. I always try to add a little garland to drape around the bar cart depending on the holiday or season. This is an easy look and hardly cost anything to do. Having an outdoor bar cart to do this is even better if it is not so hot like I did here, but indoors will work just fine. This is an easy alternative instead of going out and fighting the crowds. Sometimes just being at home and having your closest friends is the most fun anyway!
