Happy Monday! Wasn’t it such a beautiful weekend and finally started to feel like fall? I spent it watching sports aka the Astros and getting to spend time with my friends listening to good country music at the fair. Since it is October I have found myself wanting to do all things fall right now. We have pumpkins in our apartment, but I still want to go to the pumpkin patch and pick some out. One of my favorite bucket list items I would like to do during this time of year is go apple picking and also go through a corn maze. That might have to just happen up in the east coast when I go there one day. One thing that I can still do is at least dress like it’s completely fall right now. I have been wanting to pull out my leather jackets and boots lately and enjoy this time of year. The past 2 weekends I have worn this girly dress that I just love so much. I wore it first to my birthday celebration and then again here with a moto meets girly look. I am obsessed with anything that has a moto look vibe to it. When it involves moto vests or jackets it makes it that much better.

This season it is all about old trends coming back in again. The wide leg pants are back in as you saw from this post and now lace up combat boots are back too. I remember in the 90’s I used to wear this when Doc Martens were the number one selling brand I feel like. These can make any outfit that much more edgy. I have worn these with several different pieces including a button down shirt and tights like in this look. One of my favorite things about the fall fashion is all about taking risks with classic pieces that are now back in style. Between velvet or pleather shoes, it is all about taking risks to form a fun new outfit. Speaking of outfits, I need to start packing as I leave for my cruise to Cuba this week with my parents. I am so excited for this trip and to just relax and not worry about a thing. If you have never been on a cruise I highly recommend it and have wrote a post on it here. Stay tuned for a Cuba guide when I get back too.
