We are almost to the weekend, slowly but surely! I thought today was Thursday which was a shame when I was told it was not. I have been busy busy busy at work and taking on new projects which I discussed in this work post. I am so excited for Nashville this weekend though with the girls that I can hardly wait. It has been a while since I have had any girl trips since we haven’t had any bachelorette parties this year. This will be the first girl trip this year and it is going to be so much fun. I did get to go to Charleston a couple of months ago with my mom, which I think would be really fun to go to as well for a girls trip. Nashville has been on my bucket list for a while now and it just so happened that one of my best friends was off this week too which worked out perfectly for a little getaway. It will be good to just not care about anything and eat, drink, and listen to great bands throughout the city. Listening to some live music makes any weekend about 10 times better. I leave on Friday, and honestly was so happy when I thought I was leaving tomorrow when I was at work today. I have been so stressed lately and just need to relax. This top though would make any work outfit seem like you are in your pajamas all day and give you a little bit more comfort and relaxation.

I love satin tops lately and between the lace details or the long sleeved ones like this, you really can’t go wrong with the style. I can pair this top with a pencil skirt and some pumps, and have a work outfit put together in no time. One of the challenges I sometimes face at work is feeling uncomfortable in my outfit if I am sitting at my desk all day long. Granted I like to dress up and be professional like I did here, but feel much more comfortable in a satin pajama shirt like this. They wonder why when people work from home they wear sweats, because sitting down is already pretty uncomfortable and work clothes makes it 10 times worse. I paired this top as a weekend look out with the girls or something that I could wear of course in Nashville. Shades of pink have still been on my radar lately and I love mixing and matching with them. What is great about this top is that you can wear it into fall with a fur vest or a moto jacket. What are some of your favorite pieces that you are loving right now?
