Sleek in the City

Happy Tuesday everyone! Has anyone else been working out this month and feel completely sore? I have been and it was not even on my New Years resolutions, I just had realized that I don’t work out enough. I feel like I have been sore now the last 4 days and just did another workout last night, so tomorrow should be fun! At least this means I will probably be buying new work out clothes soon. After getting back into a regime of working out, my clothes feel better on me and I feel more confident. When you wear black leather leggings and a sleek black jacket like this you automatically feel put together and ready for a night in the city. Dressing up and going out to the city with my girl friends for a nice dinner has been my weekend staple. I love getting dressed up and wearing a sleek look like this makes it even better. There is something about an all black look that just looks so classy.

I love velvet and I think that it was the fabric of the winter season. You remember these pants and this top that I wore lots of times during this time of year? I love that it is back in style and this velvet blazer kicks it up a notch by bringing in the business side of things with this jacket. When pairing it with my leather leggings, it mixes 2 luxe fabrics for a fun combination. Adding a little lace top brings the girly vibe to this otherwise sleek edgy look. I will for sure be wearing this look again this weekend as I venture to some new restaurants. I already tried Emmaline last weekend and this weekend I am thinking of checking out some other new ones too. Also I will be trying to continue to purge my closet as my bestie/current roommate and I found a new apartment to live in that we are so excited for.
