This has been a seriously long week! Not to mention that I just now unpacked from Charleston last night, oops. After getting back from a vacation it takes a while to get back into the groove of things at work. I am so glad that it is Friday though and I can sit back and relax and just ease my way through the weekend. This weekend I will be having a Houston AXO alumni brunch on Saturday and just hanging out with friends. I have been going going going every weekend so this will be the first weekend in a while that we will be able to hang out. Here in Houston it is restaurant month which I am so excited for, and have several restaurants on my list. Not only does Houston have great food but OMG Charleston’s food last weekend was even more amazing. This was one of my favorite looks to stroll through this cute city in and get lost in the beautiful buildings and even better food options.

Between lots of dresses and rompers that I packed like this floral one, I did manage to bring these pair of summer shorts which can be a fun tropical staple. On the weekends I tend to either live in flowy maxi dresses lately or jean shorts, there has really been no in between. When I spotted these shorts at H&M when I was shopping for Charleston I knew that I would get a ton of use out of them. First off they look really high end, but of course at a great price point. I like how they were a little more dressy than I am used to, but still casual enough for a summer day. My favorite part of this outfit is the neutral colors with a little pop of blue that is always nice in the summer. I can see myself wearing this same exact outfit on my cruise in less than a month. I am already starting to prepare for that and still need to get some cute swimsuits. If you have any cute items you have seen, like always send them my way 🙂
