Happy Tuesday everyone! How was your weekend? I spent it celebrating my 3 year blog anniversary and then relaxing for the rest of it. I also went downtown again and got to check out some cool places like Biggio’s and the new Marriott Marquis pool that I had been wanting to check out. I seriously want to go there soon for a little staycation and just relax. If you all probably know it was also national ice cream day on Sunday, so of course I had to indulge in that. I am all about those type of holidays and love them because they are so random, but it is a good excuse for a fun photo of course. Speaking of photos I had so much fun with this little shoot in downtown Houston. Normally my blog photos are pics of me standing up so it was nice to do it a little different like sitting down at this cute little greenery area. I have been to this area several times as it is right by Lucky Strikes and Pete’s Piano Bar, but you would have never guessed it existed.

I like how this outfit is very flirty with the little tie front blouse. I am all about tops that add a little something extra, but that can easily be paired with jeans too like this top. Stripes are always one of my favorite prints to wear and are truly a classic. If you remember when I wore this stripes on stripes outfit it was a classic meets trendy look. That is what I love about this tie front blouse. It is trendy and a thin light weight fabric which is a must for the weather lately. I don’t know about you but I feel like if I walk outside just to and from my car I start sweating. Why I have worn white skinny jeans the last 2 weekends, I don’t know. Sometimes white skinnies are just a little dressier when I don’t want to wear some denim shorts. If I could wear casual dresses all the time I would. There is something just more versatile with a top and jeans sometimes that you just have to wear instead. This top would look cute with some cutoff denim shorts and some wedges though.
