Jord Watch

Happy Monday everyone! How was everyone’s weekend? Did you get to spend it outside by the pool or lake I hope! I think it was the hottest weekend this year or at least it felt like it. I spent all day Saturday with my friends by the pool. That has been my favorite weekend activity with it being so hot lately. Normally that involves having prosecco or some sort of summery beer as well. If you saw on instagram last week I bought some succulent plants and a mint plant. I hope to be able to use some of these mint leaves to make a mojito soon. This summer is going by way too fast, and I can’t keep track of the time.

Speaking of time, I haven’t been able to wear my watch lately because the battery has been dead and I haven’t gotten it fixed. I have been looking at fun summer watches because I literally feel naked sometimes when I don’t wear one. Then I spotted these wood watches by Jord and thought they were so unique and fun. I had never seen a wood band on a watch, but thought it looked extra tropical and different. I decided to go with the rose gold face and medium wood band. This combination I feel like I can wear time after time. There was also a turquoise face one that I was having a tough decision on but decided that the rose gold could go with everything and would look good on almost every color. Now I have a great unique fashionable watch that I can pair with all my basics like I did here. You can never have too many staple items! I really like this Jord watch and am excited to be able to wear it with so much.
