Yay for it being hump day and for me slowly getting through this crazy busy week. I have been eyeing all things fall and warm colors and have been updating my closet and home decor quite a lot in the last couple of days. One thing that I have been loving are warm colors like this outfit and this embroidered dress that I have been wearing to several places. My wardrobe is looking more dark with some warm colors lately. What I love the most still is tassels, but most importantly fall tassels that with a little change of color completely make this acceptable for fall. Anything in black is on my radar because it can go with so much these days. As you remember when I wore this tassel kimono I was able to mix and match with a little neutral colors. These pieces in my outfit I literally wear every week because they are what I refer to as my essential pieces. This long vest and these jeans are one of those items that I feel like I need in about five different colors because I wear them so much as you can see in this fall striped look.

Tassels are just a little favorite embellishment that I have been loving ever since I started wearing them in the spring/summer. When I saw this bag which I am also loving in tan I thought it would go with so much and gives a great updated flair to any outfit. I wore this outfit when I went to Dallas and also last weekend just shopping on a pretty fall day. Knee high boots in this color tied the whole outfit together. If it is not knee high boots or booties lately then there is really no other shoes that I have been wanting to wear. Heading into the fall I can see a lot of tassels being added to more luxe looks like velvet which I can’t wait to wear. I love how embellishments can make a big statement to an otherwise neutral outfit. What are some of your favorite fall looks that you are looking forward to?
