TGIF everyone! I am so glad that it is Friday and that it is officially the first Friday of October.  You know what that means is it’s getting close to Halloween. This is probably one of my favorite holidays. Ever since I was younger I have loved getting dressed up in many different costumes and having fun. My mom used to always make my costumes and I loved that because they were always so unique and it put such a personal touch to it. As I got older and went off to college, themed parties were always my favorite and thinking of the most unique costume ideas for each event. Now that I am going to be 27 on Sunday and getting a little older I still like to celebrate Halloween. In college some costumes could be over the top and a little scandalous as they would put it in Mean Girls. Now that I am in my late 20’s I want something that is fun, easy, and not too revealing. Above are some of my favorite costume ideas and looks that I think you can throw together to make a great appearance whatever you decide to do that night.

I think sometimes just wearing a normal outfit and then dressing it up with accessories and makeup is all you really need. Last year I was a comic book girl and just had my makeup done really well by my friend and got a cheap green wig and bam there was my awesome costume. There is still a couple of weeks left but I would start thinking of ideas as you want to be unique and of course amaze all of your friends too!
