Good morning everyone! Man was it a chilly weekend. I actually took some photos for the blog on Saturday morning and I believe it was one of the coldest days in Houston we have had in a couple of years. It felt like New York fashion week again which I do miss, and won’t be able to go to next month. It’s ok though I have a trip coming up at the end of February where I will be going to Cabo which will be very fun! I do enjoy a little cooler weather, but this past weekend was just a tad bit too cold. Since I had finally cleaned out my closet and actually color coded it as well including the shoes, I still try to bring out some of the items out the back of my closet ever once in a while. One item being my white skinny jeans that I like to wear all year long. I never stick to the old fashion rule of not wearing white after labor day. I think if you can pair it with other neutral colors and stick to over the knee boots, you really can change it season by season.

Over the knee boots are the boots for all of the cold weather looks. I got this pair last year and have honestly loved them. I would highly recommend getting some in a neutral color as they can go with everything. Typically I have gotten printed pieces whether that is in clothes or shoes, but realized I needed to invest in more neutral pieces. Recently I got rid of a lot of long sleeve shirts and sweaters because they just don’t look like they used to.  I have been eyeing a lot of turtleneck and sweaters that are grey and camel color. What I like about this look is that you can wear a neutral jacket with it and take it off when the weather changes from 40 to 80 degrees overnight. This week is going to go by really fast as I have a busy week at work and then a fun weekend. I still see myself wearing these boots throughout the week and incorporating more neutrals into my look.
