TGIF everyone! I am here in Cabo enjoying the beautiful sunshine and do not want to leave. Yesterday we celebrated my friend Jill’s wedding which was absolutely gorgeous. The resort has been incredible and feels like paradise. We also went fishing on Wednesday which was so much fun. If you have been following along on snapchat and instagram you have gotten a little glimpse into this week. I also put together my airport style on Monday that I think is a must for every travel day. I needed this vacation as a time to relax, while also celebrating one of my good friends from high school marry the love of her life. This was the first time I had been to a destination wedding and I must say they are one of the most fun weddings. Everyone is carefree and you get to rock your favorite beach attire and party the night away on the sand. Before I went on the trip I got some great outfits to wear during this week. One of them being this preppy navy dress. When I think of the beach and sand, a preppy dress comes to mind. Not that I don’t enjoy floral, but there is something about the neutral colors and stripes about a nautical dress that I just love. What I like the most about this dress is that it is a classic and I also could wear it to work in the Spring too.

We all know that I love wearing pieces that work for many different occasions with work being one of them. This dress is such a great length too which I think is so important. Us tall girls can sometimes have a hard time with this as we want it to be cute, without being too revealing. The fabric is also super high quality which is a plus in my book. I paired it with these neutral accessories that I tend to bring on any trip. The wedge and handbag color go with so many different items. I love splurging on a great bag and shoes that I know I will get a lot of use out of them. I love getting printed bags and trendy shoes too, but sometimes just a classic preppy look is what you need for an effortless look. I hope you all have a great weekend.
