Hello everyone how is your week going so far? I feel like mine is off to a great start, better than last week at this time that is for sure! If you are subscribed to my email newsletter you saw on my monthly email I sent out on Sunday that I opened up about something close to my heart, and I appreciate all of your kind words I have received. In situations like that I feel like you just have to keep on going and be with God, and whatever happens in the end is his will. If you follow on social media you know that rodeo season here in Houston has officially kicked off, and I am so excited for all of the fun festivities associated with that. As you can see from last year fringe was my favorite accessory to rock during these couple of weeks. Also this week I started a 6 week bible study leading up to Easter which I can’t wait for. During times like these whether it is leading up to Christmas or leading up to Easter, I think it is important to re-evaluate your life and take a step back and get more closely connected with God for a bit. This is one holiday that as it moves further along in March, I am so excited to celebrate and for this weather to get warm so I can start wearing all my fun Spring dresses like this white embroidered dress.

As it is starting to get warmer and the flowers are going to start blooming, the look of white in my wardrobe and bright colors are always the first thing that comes to my mind. I think that a girl can never go wrong with a classic white dress. This dress is one that I can also wear to work which is so helpful now that I work downtown and find myself staying around that area on a Friday if I want to meet my friends afterwards for a drink or dinner. A classic sheath dress is one that is needed in every girls closet for a simple dress that you can not only wear to church or brunch, but Easter as well. Several of my co-workers are also working on family portraits this Spring and I love the look of an all white outfit while wearing a dress like this. My favorite part is the embroidered cut out throughout that is so fun, while being the most classy as well. That is why I like J. McLaughlin because you always know that the clothes are going to be great quality and classic pieces, but that are also fun with intricate details.
