Hello and happy Wednesday everyone! How has everyone been lately and how was your weekend?? It was finally my nephew’s graduation on Friday night which was bitter sweet. I am a proud aunt right here and just got to soak it in for a minute. Then I spent the day on Saturday enjoying my friend’s husband’s 30th bday which included Mexican food then some outdoor patio drinks. Now it has already been a full week for me with work and lots of activities after work. Also one of my best friends will be in town so I can’t wait to see her. When it is a busy week like this week I always like to mentally have a plan of what outfits I am going to wear to these events after work. I normally wear slacks or a shift dress to work and change into something more comfortable if I am meeting anyone for dinner or an event afterwards. This lace top though can be worn from work to anything after and still be extremely cute and dressy. I spotted this top a couple of weeks ago and can’t get enough of it. It is one of those pieces that is a year round lace top that can be worn to any type of event as well. I love investment pieces like this and you know that I love lace tops at the moment. One thing that stuck out to me about this top was the color. I see black and white lace tops all of the time which I love, but it was indeed the unique color of this top which I think would be flattering on anyone’s skin tone.

Since wearing this top in Charleston, I have already worn it to church, dinner with the girls, and to work. It does not scream spring which makes it a year round lace top that I could pair with some knee high boots in the fall too. It is all about the other pieces you wear with this top which can give it a whole different look. That for me during this time of year are my trusted white skinny jeans that I wear several times a week. I feel like I am going to need to buy another pair of these soon because I wear them so often. Also these mules that I am obsessed with go perfectly with it too. When I first spotted them they reminded me of shoes my grandmother would wear which made me want to immediately try them on. I love the glam color of them and how they are a mix between gold and silver. The best part about them is how comfortable they are. If you have been seeing on my posts I am all about the mules lately and for good reason because they are just so easy to throw on and they make any outfit a little more laid back.
