I can’t believe it is November already! I mean the month of October flew by. Between my birthday celebrations, going to Cuba and then Halloween, there was so much going on. Now it is going to take me a while to get back into the swing of things with Daylight Savings time. I am always the person who takes forever to actually change her clocks and the time change always has me in bed so much earlier during this time of year, which is never a bad thing though. That just means more time for binge watching shows like Stranger Things! Has anyone else been hooked on this show? I relaxed this weekend for the most part and did some studying for the PMP which I take next month and watched some shows. One thing that I think everyone in Houston was doing on Friday was celebrating the Astros World Series Champs. That is so hard to believe and still seems like a dream. I am so happy for them and they have earned it after everything this city has been through. I think it is safe to say that 2017 has been Houston’s year to say the least. I wore shades of orange all weekend long in honor of the Astros and of course to get in the November feels. Shades like oranges, browns, and creams are always my favorite to wear during this time of year.

Sweaters with statement sleeves have been on my radar lately. If you saw this pearl detailed sweater and then this bow sleeve sweater, then you know that sweaters with embellishments are everywhere right now. I personally have liked the retro vibes coming back into the fashion scene recently. We remember these wide leg pants, and when I saw the sleeves on this sweater I knew that it gave it this fun retro flare. A lot of people skip over the November month completely, but I enjoy it and am so ready to already start thinking of what I will be wearing for Thanksgiving. Stay tuned for a post I will be sharing on a romper that will be perfect for this holiday. This past week I also scored some great designer dupes while I was shopping online. One of them is this designer dupe belt that I am wearing.  I am sure the quality is not as good as the real Gucci belt, but I honestly can’t see myself spending at least $350 on a belt. This belt was only $14.99 so I had to add it to my cart. I had to get the black one too. This was my first time to ever buy a designer dupe and the quality is not bad. They will go with so much stuff this season and I am not breaking the bank! If you haven’t been on my Instagram stories yet I am going to be doing a couple of polls to see what you would like to see in the next month for posts. If you have any suggestions always comment below or send me an email. Happy Monday!
