There is something about wearing velvet during Christmas time that I tend to do most of the time. Last year I wore this velvet duster on Christmas Eve that I am still obsessed with, and this year it has been all about green velvet. Velvet is one of those materials that is warm and feels very luxurious, which is perfect for a time like Christmas. Remember this green velvet dress that I recently said would be great to wear to holiday parties? These velvet pants would be great as well. I don’t know about you but by Christmas evening after spending all day opening presents, eating, and visiting family I just want to put on some baggy pants and relax. That is what I like about these pants is that they are stretchy, yet dressy at the same time.

Last year I wore these pants in a more dressy way with heels and a sparkly top. This year it is all about casual comfort with my favorite neutral sweater that I have been wearing with everything and then some neutral booties. If you add some fun accessories like this leopard clutch and feather earrings then you have a great Christmas velvet outfit. This is one outfit that you can wear from attending church in the morning to eating Christmas dinner that evening. Velvet is also one of those material that have been very popular the past couple of years, and I don’t see it going anywhere anytime soon. I can see myself wearing this for New Years Eve as well. I don’t know about you, but I have no idea what I am honestly going to do for New Years yet. It is one of those holidays that always sneaks up on me, does anyone else feel that way??
