Hi everyone! I am back from our mother/daughter trip and boy am I tired. We had such a great time in Savannah, Georgia. If you followed along on social media you got to see all of our fun. Between eating all of the great food, walking about 10 miles a day, and catching some amazing tours, I think we had a pretty great Memorial Day weekend. I hope you all did as well and got to relax and enjoy the holiday. I will be recapping my whole trip with a travel guide to come very soon. One of the things that reminded me a lot of Charleston in Savannah was all of the Southern buildings and the classic pieces of people’s outfits too. Yes, I do pay a lot of attention to people’s outfits and one of the things my mom and I enjoyed the most about the trip was sitting in the squares and just people watching. It rained every day we were there and you could tell the humidity and heat were starting to rise. I spent most of my time in easy going dresses like this classic denim dress. What I liked about Savannah was people would wear a lot of classic pieces and they would always add their own spin to them. It is a city that has a college of art and design after all.

You all know I love a good classic piece like this shirt dress and my trench coat. One piece that would make a great Summer staple is this classic denim dress that I spotted. It helps that it is under $30 as well. I always love a steal, even when it is a classic piece like this. When I spotted this dress it made me think of the classic denim dresses I used to wear when I was younger. I am so glad all of the trends go and eventually come back! Just like the people do in Savannah, I had to add some of my own flair and trends to this outfit. These sneakers are my new favorite pair and they give this outfit a casual look that can go straight to shopping on the weekend. I have been wearing them non stop because they are so comfy and trendy for a classic look like this. What are some of your favorite classic trends, and how do you dress them up?
