As we know it is the start of Valentine’s week! I am looking forward to indulging in some wine, candy, and of course some good food. I already celebrated this past weekend with my girlfriends for a Galentines Day where we did a dance class and went to brunch. It was so much fun and I always like to do something like this with my gal pals every year. It is always nice to go all out and get dressed up for Valentine’s Day like I have shared here, but sometimes it is great to just have a comfy Valentine’s look by hanging out at home and watching a great movie. Granted I do love to go out to eat and am trying a new restaurant or bar every week, but sometimes all I want to do is lounge in a comfy sweater like this. We did end up wearing our comfy clothes to brunch on Saturday which was a nice change. Sometimes a girl just needs to be comfortable and casual and it makes everything 10 times better.

I know that when I wear an oversized sweater like this and pair it with my favorite jeans it makes the whole look a casual chic look. One thing that will always change a look like this to be that more fab, is putting on some fun booties. Not only is February of course Valentine’s Day, but it is also the start of Rodeo Season here in Houston. These snakeskin booties are ones that for sure make a statement for any occasion. Whatever you end up doing for Valentine’s Day this week or if that means not doing anything, make sure to indulge in a fun sweater like this in a bright color. Since the weather is trying to move towards spring, this would be a great time to start bringing out the brighter colors!
