Happy Monday! How was everyone’s weekend? I had such a fun and eventful weekend and it went by way too fast just like it always does. I am always wanting it to last so much longer!  On Saturday it was back to wedding season with my blogger friend Alex’s wedding. Weddings are so much fun and I always have a great time on the dance floor and in the photo booth of course.  Thankfully this weekend was a lot warmer than it was last weekend. I took these photos last weekend when it was about 20 degrees out which was pretty brutal. This Texas girl does not do too well in really cold weather. Luckily I had my trench coat for this downtown look.

A trench coat is one that will always be a classic look. I wore this trench coat back in October and I think this is something that can go from season to season very easily. During this time of year I had to pair it with a big sweater and booties and it kept me very warm. I like how trench coats can go from January with sweaters to April with a floral dress. I have been buying lots of items like this that are great transitioning pieces that are classics. Over the past week I shopped online at Nordstrom and we always know how that goes. I ended up getting a ton of pieces including classics like a long sleeve black shirt that I accidentally bought 2, good thing you can never have too many.
