I can’t believe that Mother’s Day is just next weekend. This is one of my favorite holidays because my mom is seriously my best friend. She is someone that I talk to on my way to work, on my way home from work, and several times in between. We are actually are a lot alike between our personality, interests, and overall values and things we like. My mom balances me out and is cheerful in the morning when I can be grumpy and can calm me down when I am talking too loud. I invite her out with my friends, and she always puts a smile on my face and we are so connected. Celebrating your mom or another motherly figure on this day to me is not just a Hallmark holiday.
