I can’t believe that Mother’s Day is just next weekend. This is one of my favorite holidays because my mom is seriously my best friend. She is someone that I talk to on my way to work, on my way home from work, and several times in between. We are actually are a lot alike between our personality, interests, and overall values and things we like. My mom balances me out and is cheerful in the morning when I can be grumpy and can calm me down when I am talking too loud. I invite her out with my friends, and she always puts a smile on my face and we are so connected. Celebrating your mom or another motherly figure on this day to me is not just a Hallmark holiday. I like to celebrate her every day by surprising her with special knick knacks or random asks for getting our nails done or going to brunch. My mom has taught me so much in life and my favorites are: trust God with all of your heart, try to be the best you can in everything you can be including showing up with a smile and put together, not to hold grudges (which I struggle with sometimes) and to live even the most boring pieces of your life with joy. So here are some gift ideas for that special lady in your life 🙂

  • Your mom needs to make a fashion staple just like you, and these blush sunglasses are so cute for this time of year!
  • This custom family watercolor illustration is one of the most unique gifts to give. This company will do an illustration of your family and adding it to a fun frame would be such a great idea for your mom to cherish through the years.
  • A devotional like this Pressing Pause: 100 Quiet Moments for Moms to Meet With Jesus is such a great read. Moms do a lot of work, and this is a gift that will allow her to have that extra quiet time each and every day.
  • This dainty Mama Gold Necklace is something your mom could treasure each and every day. I love personalized necklaces like this, and you can also get one that has initials on it as well.
  • A boat hat like this will be useful to wear all throughout the Spring and Summer months. Your mom will be looking extra chic in this hat.
  • I have been eyeing these lucite hoop earrings that are everywhere right now. These are super cheap and will go with so many outfits that your mom can wear them every day.
  • A letter throw pillow is such a cute way to add a little modern/transitional touch to any room. I love the classic font and colors in this pillow.
  • My mom loves wearing slippers and these blush suede slippers would be the cutest addition to your mom’s wardrobe. The blush color is very on trend and girly!
  • I love a good doormat with funny sayings on it. I like to change it out and this pretty much sums up any girl these days. I mean who doesn’t love Amazon, coffee and Target.
  • If you want to splurge your mom a little, these silk lemon pajamas are the perfect gift. The print is so cute and is a classic print that is great for the upcoming warmer months.
  • Hanging baskets aren’t just for outside anymore. These could go indoor as well and for my mom who loves gardening, would be the perfect little addition to her backyard oasis. The white on the baskets give it that trendy boho touch.
  • Your mom can never have too much lipstick! It is one of those essentials that always makes her look 10 times fabulous, even though she doesn’t have to be!

I hope you get some great ideas with these gift ideas for Mother’s Day. Remember to be with the one that brought you into the world on this special day. It is those cherished moments that mean the most more than any gift that you can give. You all will remember these times spent together. Hope you all have a great weekend!
