Holding onto Summer

I don’t know about you but it seems like it has already been a pretty long week and I already need another vacation. I know I already went to Europe 2 months ago, but I need another vacation. I am still holding onto Summer vibes with little tops like this and flowy skirts. Since I am still wanting the heat it seems like, I booked my 30th birthday weekend in October to Miami. I am pretty excited and there will be 3 of us girls going which will be so much fun. We all know I am a planner so it seems like when one thing ends I am already thinking of what the next thing will be. It is all so much fun and then when it finally comes, it goes by way too fast. One thing that isn’t going by fast is the heat here where I am able to wear a fun skirt and top like this probably until the end of October.

This is about the 4th time recently over on the blog that I have decided to wear a skirt. I don’t have too many so this is a bit unusual. All in the stores right now are flowy long skirts that seem to go with so much during this time of year. Now don’t get me wrong I have a lot of fun dresses, but there is something so refreshing and versatile about a skirt that it can just take you from day to night and all different seasons in between. This skirt has for sure done that for me. I first wore it in New York during Fashion Week when it was freezing outside, and now here I am wearing it in the hottest part of the Summer. It is all about those versatile pieces that you can wear from season to season that won’t get old!
