Happy Wednesday everyone, we are almost done with this week! I don’t know if it is just the Summer time or what it is, but I feel like the weeks have been just flying by lately. It is either that or I am extremely busy and that is why they are flying by. If you are on Instagram then you saw that I was making my final arrangements for my Europe trip I will be going on with one of my friends at the end of this month. We are heading to Nice, France and Norway and it can’t come sooner. One thing before I leave that I will be doing is speaking at a conference in Vegas and being a bridesmaid in one of my best friend’s weddings. There is so much to look forward to in June. One thing that when I get a break on the weekend that I have been wearing lately is gingham. You all know that I love gingham from my dresses and tops that I have worn previously. This look is one of my favorites to wear on the weekends because it is what I like to call laid back gingham.

The last thing that I want to wear on the weekends is something that is uncomfortable. Lately my weekends have involved several errands and brunch with my girlfriends. One thing that makes that hard is that I can’t just wear workout clothes for these types of events. Even though I am a fashion blogger, I do prefer not having to change my outfit 2-3 times on a single Saturday. That is where this outfit comes in handy. This top is one that I wore a lot last year, and is still a favorite of mine. The color is so refreshing, yet not too in your face bright like other gingham tops can be. I also have been living in these jeans ever since I got them because they are so comfy, and are just the number one staple item. I had to throw on these comfortable athletic sandals with this outfit. These are about as far as I will go on the athletic sandal trend, as these are still fashionable. Gingham does not have to be too girly, if you mix your pieces and accessories you can make it laid back like this.
