Today is finally the day that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now open to the general public, so you better get shopping! This past week I was able to get a lot of shopping done, which was mostly some basics that I needed to stock up on. As you have seen lots of times on Instagram stories then you know that I have done a closet clean out and got rid of items that were not my best, favorite, or necessary. This mindset has really helped me filter through some of my clothes and determine what I actually want and think can double as a work outfit, or something I will wear only once. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is always my favorite sale of the year and I always stock up on basics, but also like to add a few statement pieces in there as well. I still have a lot of items that are supposed to be getting delivered today, but this is what I have bought in the store or items that have shipped so far. As you see these are more fun weekend looks, but items that I can mix and match with to wear for any occasion as well. Items are going quick so I would for sure check out the sale sooner than later. I am wearing an xtra small in this blouse because it runs a little big. This top can go with jeans like I did here, or a high waisted skirt for a work look. These jeans are my favorite and I love the boot cut hem. I chose a size 27 in them and the wash is a great year round color. These booties go with everything and the stretchy material makes them so versatile.

This sweater was my second favorite pick from the sale. I got an xtra small in this sweater as it also runs a little big. The material is 100% cashmere, which I have never owned anything cashmere before! It also comes in several other colors, and the cute tie on the side is my favorite detail about this top. I can see myself wearing this now with white cutoffs, and then in the winter with leather leggings and booties.

I always like to grab a new pair of boots during the sale, and I am so glad I decided to go with this pair. The color is a great neutral light camel which can go with so many options. The height of the heel is a medium height that can be dressed up or down depending on what you pair them with. I love how they are higher than the traditional booties and the material is stretchy. They honestly fit like a glove, and I love them so much!

I am actually wearing this sweater today to work and it is so versatile. The green color gives me that Christmas in July vibe. This also comes in several different colors. It fits true to size and I am wearing a size small. I am still all about statement sleeves and this sweater actually has zippers on the shoulder that zip off to make a sleeveless sweater!

(Dress)

I wore this dress to work yesterday and kept it on for a work happy hour and a blogger dinner. It can go from summer to winter by adding a leather jacket and some knee high boots. This dress has a girly vibe to it with the ruffles and a floral print. I am wearing a size small and I love how the length is not too short. I am 5’7″ so finding a dress that is not too short is always a win!

(Sports Bra | Leggings)

I finally tried my favorite brand of athletic wear for sports bras and fell in love. Having support and a neutral color is key for these basic pieces. I love the options of colors and the price of these that you can stock up on. These leggings are the only brand I wear and they are so comfy. I love the high waist and the thicker material that is still stretchy. I always stock up on these during this time of year. I went with a size small for both pieces.

Who doesn’t love a big comfy sweatshirt? We all need one to throw on over some workout clothes or to lounge around with on the weekends. I love this sweatshirt because it is black and can go with all of my leggings, and the length is not too long. Sometimes sweatshirts can be way too long and I love this little cropped length. I went with a size small and it is a perfect fit.
