Happy Friday everyone! I don’t know about you but this week has gone by super fast for me. Maybe it is because I have been anxiously waiting to go out of town today. Other than 2 quick trips, I haven’t really traveled since October time frame which is very unusual. I will be leaving for Dallas today for one of my friend’s baby showers that we will be celebrating. One of the things that I always try to look for when I travel are versatile neutral pieces that will go with everything so it is easy to pack. As you remember my airport style I am all about easy versatile pieces. When I saw these “paperbag pants” the other weekend I knew that I had to have them. Stripes are such a classic print and when paired with a trendy cut that these have, then you have the best of both worlds. We all know that I love stripes as you have seen in this post because they go with everything. I have been seeing this style of pants so much lately from shorts to the longer style that I am wearing here. They can add a little update to an otherwise basic look. This is a great option to wear with your favorite white tee. Not to mention that they are the most comfortable pants and make me feel like I am wearing pajamas.

I also love these pants because they give a little cabana beach vibe too. I don’t know about you but since we don’t have “spring breaks” as adults other than my teacher friends, I sure have been missing the beach lately. I want to just take a quick trip to somewhere sunny and this look has really gotten me in the mood. Speaking of sunny, I have also been looking non-stop at new shoes to wear during this time of year. I have my eye on these new wedges. Shoes that have a little embellishment on them in classic colors always draw me in. Even though I have cleaned my closet since I moved into my new place, I feel like that just gives room for new things. This is totally contradictory to the whole Spring cleaning thing, but I justify it with my fashion blog. Be on the lookout as I walk you all through some of my new purchases and my new bedroom décor that I am working on. I have been so excited for this and to finally buy and decorate my new place! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend 🙂
