We made it to Friday! This has been a crazy week with work and a lot on my mind. Now that it is Friday, I know a lot of you are probably wanting to do a date night. For many of us that looks like takeout and some wine at home with a good movie. Others it could mean going to a patio somewhere or taking a walk. I think it is always fun to get dressed up for date night whether you are staying in or going out. Sometimes I like to be more glam with a full skirt like this look, and other times just jeans and some heels. I think date night is essential whether you are in a serious relationship, married, or just starting to date someone new. Another good thing during this time currently is having a quick date night look that does not have to take too much thought as you are putting it together. You want to be able to enjoy the date without having to worry too much about what you are wearing.

My go to on dates are always some skinny jeans and some heels or wedges like I did in this look. You don’t want to go too casual like in this look with sneakers on a special date night. When I was going into the office and had either a happy hour with girlfriends or a date after work, I always wanted to have an easy transitional look that would work from work to dinner/drinks. This red floral top is one that I have worn several times to work and always is a great hit. I wore this in the Winter time with a long sleeve top underneath and now a days here with a black tank. Funny thing about this top is that I am actually wearing it backwards for this look. I wanted it more opened in the front instead of the back. Either way you have to wear a tank underneath, but wearing it this way almost reminds me more of a kimono. I always like to wear my favorite jeans on a date night that I know I will be comfortable in. It is also so easy to throw on jeans after a long day of work and go. A quick change of heels like these strappy block heels gives this a great easy trendy look. Having fun accessories like these heels and this bag are always a great idea. I always like to include some trendy items as well into my date night look. It is always a good thing to show your personality, and 9 times out of 10 he will compliment your fun style doing this.
