This has got to be one of my favorite blog shoots I have ever done! We snapped these photos when we were just pulling into Palm Springs when we went on our trip last month. I know I took a ton of pictures while there! The wind was crazy so trying to get at least one good photo was very hard to do. I have always wanted to take some photos in the desert, and I had never been to a climate like this before. The closest would have been Las Vegas weather. If you saw with this look by the cactus, then you know the weather can go from over 100 degrees to very windy quickly. That did not stop us from getting some fun pictures though. I had to wear this jumpsuit, and as you probably know I love outfits like this. I wore jumpsuits or rompers basically the whole time while I was in California. There is something so easy about them that you can dress them down or up.

I also love that you can wear this jumpsuit from now and into the fall by adding a leather jacket. I have said this before but I never wear red. The last time I wore red I believe was when I wore this red bow sweater that I love. These earrings that I got from Lisi Lerch were the best new addition to this look. I have been wearing these non stop because they go with so much. The fact that they are statement earrings and are white just makes my day! They always say red is a bold color to wear and I completely agree. The holidays are just around the corner and this would look great for all of the upcoming festive parties as well. It is already September as we know and I think I might be that person that starts putting the pumpkins out soon. It is never too early right?? Hope you all have a great Monday.
