It’s my favorite time of year here in Houston, that is the Rodeo!!! Between eating all of the fried goodies, seeing the livestock animals, all the BBQ and the great concerts it truly is a fun time. Last night started the BBQ cook off which is always the weekend before the official rodeo concerts begin. Tonight I will be going to the cook off with some friends which I am really excited for. Then, 2 Mondays from now will see my favorite girl Miranda Lambert in concert at the rodeo. It is going to be a fun month!

With all of the fringe and suede that is in style right now it is perfect to wear to all of the upcoming rodeo festivities here in Houston. I have been wearing suede since I bought a suede skirt and wore it to Napa in this post. When I saw this vest last week at Express I knew it was a more updated version to all of the other suede vests I have been seeing lately, and had to have it. The color was so fun and bright, but still kept to that western look. I wanted to do a classic black look with just a pop of color. Instead of my Lucchese boots I opted for my short booties that I have been wearing with everything lately. They still have the rodeo vibe, and look so good paired with this vest. I could just spin and spin around in this fringe all day and not get tired of it. Cheers to a fun night, what are your weekend plans?!
