I know it is way too early and too hot to be thinking about sweaters, but man do I miss them already. This past week and weekend were extremely hot, and I am glad I got to stay inside most of the time. One of my friends was in town and that meant of course going to brunch and we got to go see the Icons of Style exhibit at the museum. This was such a great exhibit, and I learned so much by going through it. One of my favorite parts about it was all of the street style over the years and especially in New York. It makes me want to go back to fashion week again. One of the seasons I love more is Fall/Winter because all of the sweater vibes start coming out. I spotted both this sweater material skirt and top recently when I was actually returning some shoes that were too big. Don’t you love when that happens?!

This top is in one of those shades that I have wearing non-stop from a wedding to a casual night out. I don’t see this color going anywhere anytime soon. It is such a light material and goes great with a high waisted skirt or pants, or if you are feeling extra flirty can wear it as a crop top. This skirt immediately caught my eye because of it’s thick sweater material. It is a great transition piece as we venture into the cooler months. I love the black/white color that can instantly go with any color for a fun updated look. I normally don’t wear skirts that often, but lately especially with this one I have been able to incorporate more of them into my wardrobe. These are those staple items that you can mix and match because they go with so much!
