Recently it was Go Texan week as we kicked off the rodeo here in Houston. I am so glad that it is back after 2 years! James and I went to the Cook Off and had such a great time, despite the nasty weather. Toby Keith even made a surprise appearance and sang in our tent which was so fun and unexpected. I of course couldn’t wait to wear all of the western looks and get dressed up. There is something about ruffles and some good cowboy boots that just gives me all the feels. At work recently each day was a different theme where we got to dress up in our rodeo best. It ranged from fun hats, western shirts, and all of the boots. This look gives that touch of western work flair that will work from the office to heading to the rodeo afterwards.

I love these flare jeans and have been wearing them over the past couple of years with different looks. They can transition for lots of occasions, and rodeo is a great event for them. This ruffled top is one that is perfect paired with jeans like I did here, or even some cutoff shorts or a denim skirt. If you are going to incorporate any western wear into your work outfit, I would stick to neutrals like I did here. I can’t wait to wear this top more for all of the upcoming rodeo festivities and Spring events. Speaking of Spring, I can’t wait for Daylight Savings time and for the sun to finally stay out later than usual. This gives me all the feels and excitement for all of the Spring clothes and accessories. I hope you all find inspiration in this western work flair outfit and if you dress up in your western wear best for the office.
