It’s that time of year again where if you haven’t been invited to a holiday party yet, you will soon get the invitation. Everyone is having either their company holiday party during this time of year, or they are starting to at least shop for that upcoming event. I don’t know about you, but I always want to have a fun new dress to wear for this type of occasion. If you remember last year I wore a mesh holiday dress and then I had this lace jumpsuit. Both were completely different and I was able to mix and match them with different accessories for a different look. I am normally one that thinks a classic black dress is a great go to for any holiday party. I do believe this, but with the cooler temperatures I do love velvet as well. You remember my favorite wide leg velvet pants last year right?! There is something about this material that screams winter and most importantly a fun holiday party as well.

If the color is a green like my pants were and this dress, it just makes for a more festive look. I spotted this dress about a month ago and knew I had to have it because it was a wrap dress, and I have been drawn to dark green lately. If you saw my Instagram recently you know that I also wore a green faux fur jacket over the weekend. This is one of those dresses that you can keep around for years to come because it is such a classic. You can never go wrong with a classic wrap dress in any color or material no matter the season. If you are looking for a great holiday dress that is not your traditional classic black dress, I would look at something like this velvet holiday dress.
