It finally feels like Fall here in Houston, and I am here for it! Today I brought out a comfy sweater and leggings and have been trying to work as much as I can outside to enjoy this beautiful weather. Since last week was the first day of Fall it has felt great out, and I can’t wait for all of the pumpkins, boots, and cooler weather clothes. One thing that I don’t believe in is not wearing white after Labor Day. I don’t think there has to be a rule of when you can and can’t wear a certain color. I have been wearing white jeans in the Fall and even in the Winter every year. I think this actually makes your outfit pop and adds an unexpected vibe. This season I haven’t bought too many new pieces, other than leisure wear of course. I am excited to be able to transition pieces like this top into a whole new seasonal look.

I wore this top with some skinny jeans when I went to Fredericksburg a couple of weeks ago. I love the floral detail and the colors that are in it. Paired with these flared white jeans make the look even better. There is something so great about a little bit of flared jeans compared to the normal skinny jeans that are everywhere. As it gets closer to the holiday season this is important as there is more movement in flared jeans when you plan to be indulging in some food and wine. I paired this look with my favorite neutral accessories like this floppy hat, bag, and booties. Keeping a more fun top with classic other pieces give this old fashioned rule of no white after Labor Day a new twist.
