It is almost that time of year for all of the Mexican food and bright color outfits! I mean when is it not, considering I feel like I go to El Tiempo like at least once a week but who is counting? I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready to conquer the week again. I spent it with my friends enjoying some great Mexican food, attending a baby shower for my friend, and going to the Astros game. There is always so much to do over the weekends, and I have such a great time being with my friends and hanging out. This upcoming weekend is one of the most fun weekends because not only is it Cinco de Mayo, but also my best friend/roommate’s birthday weekend as well.

We always tend to go all out for each other for our birthdays with decorations and everything in between in our kitchen area. With it also being Cinco de Mayo, we will for sure continue the celebrations. On Fridays at work I tend to wear something that will go from work to weekend if I just switch out my shoes for another pair. I try to do this on other days as well, but Fridays it works the best for. This green dress is one that I have had for a while and wearing it always makes a staple because of the bright color and the stripes. It works well for work because of the length, sleeves, and classic stripes and great material. When you throw some sneakers on like I did here and change out your bag, you can go straight to celebrating with some margs and queso. It doesn’t always have to be embroidery outfits, but adding some fun color and good material can transform a look from work to weekend for Cinco de Mayo.
