I can’t believe that Thanksgiving is seriously in 2 days! Where has the month gone? If you aren’t ready for this fun holiday then I suggest you start thinking of what you are going to bring and get to buying some ingredients. If you are hosting, make sure you check out my post  on how to set the table. One of the things I always think of for this holiday and not just what we are eating, is what I am going to wear. Most of the time I end up wearing jeans and a sweater or a fur coat, but it is nice to dress up a little . My favorite casual/dressed up staple item for this season has to be the sweater dress. This piece is one that is so effortless and comfortable, yet looks more dressed up since it is a dress after all. There are so many different styles right now from chunky turtle necks that hit above your knees, to ankle length dresses like this one. The longer the better for the fall is the best in my opinion because you will stay the most warm.

This yellow sweater dress reminds me so much of fall and the pretty colors of what makes it my favorite season after all. When I traveled to Tulsa a couple of weeks ago, shades of yellow were literally everywhere. This ribbed sweater material gives it that classic look while my favorite white booties give it a little trend. I have been wearing these booties everywhere and wore them to my Friendsgiving on Sunday even when it was rainy weather. They are holding up so well and are actually so comfortable compared to other white booties I have tried on. During this time of year I think it is all about mixing and matching with pieces that you wouldn’t normally pair together. You want to be casual, but also a little dressed up and trendy as well. I hope you all have a great rest of your work week and Happy Thanksgiving, my Friday is today 🙂
