Happy almost November everyone! I have pulled out my favorite classic trench coat and am ready for the fall weather. Trench coats were one of those styles of coats I have always been eyeing, but never knew if I should take the plunge and buy it depending on what all I would wear it with. Little did I know that I could wear it with so much in the fall, winter, and even the spring with an updated dress. It is an all American classic item that I think every lady needs in her closet. I have seen trench coats in so many unique styles and colors right now, including this olive trench coat that I am loving right now. Since the weather is anything but freezing right now, taking your trench coat with you to work and pairing it over a classic black dress like what I did here is a neutral style that is easy to style during this time of year. I can’t wait to pair it with some skinny jeans and some cute pumps for a great comfy and stylish outfit similar to what I did in this fall outfit post. You also don’t have to spend thousands of dollars on a classic trench coat even though we all secretly wish we could have the Burberry trench. There are lots of trench coats you can get for under $200 that are just as nice and that are going to be a classic in your closet for years to come. What my favorite part about wearing this classic coat is that you can pair it with some fun bags like this Vera Bradley satchel in bronze age. Talk about an awesome pattern for fall! I don’t know about you but I personally love structured bags and having a satchel like this as an everyday carry on bag is something that is essential in my workday.

Their new collection is swoon worthy.  We are talking about luxe fabrics like this bag, gold chains, embroidered leather and an amazing fur clutch that even features tassels. Over the next week while I am getting prepared for my event I will be showing all of my faves and I hope you tell all of your friends about my event happening next weekend. It will be a little road trip for me as it is in San Antonio at the North Star Mall in Macy’s from 2-4 pm on Saturday November 5th. There will be a cute photo opportunity, mingling and Q&A.
