Have any of you shopped for fall clothing items yet? I know I started a while back during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and had stocked up on some essentials. As I have said I just got back from my cruise and loved the hot weather, but I am so ready for it to be fall. I can finally put away some of my summer clothes and flip flops and bring out the booties and felt hats. Packing sometimes can be more of a challenge with bulkier fall clothes if you are going on a vacation, but hey the best thing to do is layer. One of my favorite items to get for the fall are basics with a twist so that I can mix and match for all kinds of new looks. In my closet I have a lot of black and tan sweaters, jeans and v-necks that I can just throw together and add a fun hat or bag to it.

This past week had been New York Fashion Week which I was bummed I didn’t get to go too again, but the cruise was worth it. I have been the last 2 years and have loved seeing what the latest trends for the next season will be. I am still seeing fringe everywhere and suede which I have been loving since the spring time. It has such a fun vintage flare to it and I can’t wait to wear my fringe suede boots this fall. Another trend I have been seeing is more of a ladylike vibe with velvet and lace/ruffles. I remember as a little girl I had a couple of velvet pieces and still to this day they seem so ladylike to me. They are now updated with a little edge with fun colors and cuts. One thing about fall fashion trends or any trends for that matter is getting them all for a good price. These items are trends for a reason, and one season they may be in and the next they may be out. Eventually trends always come back as we are all aware of. I am pretty budget friendly when it comes to trends and especially on getting some new fall basics since I just went on vacation and need to save a little in my wallet. These are all under $50 and I see them making a debut not only in this fall, but continuing into next year as well.

Happy shopping everyone, stay updated on snapchat at BNBstyling as I go to Mississippi for the Ole Miss vs. Alabama game this weekend!
