This outfit is probably one of my favorite looks I have featured. The neutral colors and stripes are so spring and ladylike to me. I love wearing dresses in this type of weather because they are so comfy. Sometimes longer dresses can look not as flattering on me because I am taller and they can sometimes look a little too loose. I like being comfy, but being flattering is also something that is a must. When I spotted this dress at H&M I knew I needed to buy it because the colors were so pretty. I was a little hesitant at first because it was horizontal stripes, but hey I already rocked that in this sweater post. When I tried it on I also noticed that it had a little tie around it which made it that much more appealing. I don’t know about you but I like anything that has a little tie to it. I also love this blush long vest that I bought. They can go with so many things and I love how long this one is because I can wear it with some skinnies and heels too! The color is so refreshing now for spring/summer and I can also wear it to work which is always a plus!

I feel like I am going to be adding quite a few more staple pieces like this dress to my closet soon. I can see it also paired with some wild shoes for a fun look. This look I decided to keep simple with neutral accessories and I seriously can’t stop wearing these platforms as seen in this checkered dress post from last week. I spent my weekend doing birthday things with my best friend/roomie and then my friend’s two year old baby and was able to alternate between my gladiators and some fun platforms. I feel like they are the shoe of the year and can be classic with this look or paired with distressed denim and a choker for a full 90’s look.

This week I hope goes by fast! I will be heading to Austin for my friends bachelorette party weekend and absolutely can’t wait! I am getting my outfits prepared now and it is Palm Springs themed and we know that is going to be a blast, bring on the pineapples and flamingos!!
