We are officially less than 1 week away from Christmas, can you believe it?? I finally got all of my shopping complete and now just need to wrap all of my gifts. I love wrapping gifts and honestly love to buy the same matching wrapping paper and bags so that it all looks pretty under the Christmas tree, even if it is only for a week. I mentioned on social media that I passed my PMP exam which now I officially have my certification as a Project Manager which I am so excited for. That is why I have been MIA because I have been studying so much. Another thing I am so excited for is to get a little bit of a vacation and days off next week for the holidays. One thing I don’t know what I am doing yet though is New Years Eve plans. I feel like it always sneaks up and I never feel like I know what to do every single year. Last year I went to a house party which I was perfectly fine with. This year I would not be opposed to getting dressed up. I have bought a lot of dressier festive attire lately like these wide leg velvet pants. I spotted these online and immediately fell in love with them. I think it was because they were so unique and the emerald green color was so festive. I didn’t know how they would look on me, but they are the most flattering pants and so comfy.

You can do so much with these pants that I feel like they should be a staple this holiday season. I paired them with this fun crop top that I spotted when looking for a basic white top. It is anything but basic, but still has a little sparkle and glam to it. You could wear so much with these pants including a long blazer and booties too. I already envision myself wearing an oversized sweater next with these pants to give it a dressed down glam look. The best part about them is the price tag of course. They also come in a pretty red and black color as well. We all know that I love velvet as you can see from this romper and this top that I have been wearing non stop. This has to be my favorite trend for this year and I love the mix and match of styles. I am probably going to wear this exact same outfit for New Years Eve and just put some fun glittery heels and a bag with it and call it a day. Do you all have any plans for NYE and know what you are wearing yet?
