Did anyone get their holiday shopping complete this week? If you did I applaud you because that takes discipline and I don’t know what got into me this year, but as you know I am complete with my shopping too. I think it was these Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales that really got me. I even got my wrapping supplies yesterday too! Those are one thing that I always love to shop for, and when I go to check out I am thinking why did I just spend $100 on freaking paper!! I am thinking well, if my family members don’t like their present, at least it is wrapped pretty. One thing that has been part of my fall wardrobe and is on my Christmas list is suede. This is such a luxe fabric that can be worn in such trendy ways that I just can’t get enough of it. A lot of the time suede can be dressed down with some jeans like in this tasseled vest. It reminds me of a little Southern mixed with an edgy/70’s look. I have so many suede pieces in my closet right now that I have been wanting to pair for a dressed up suede look.

During the holidays with all of the parties you need something that you can dress up and go straight to an event in. This jacket is one that I have probably had since I was honestly 16, and even though it has been through a lot it is still one of those pieces that I can’t get rid of. It is great to throw on over a dress for a trendy look paired with suede chunky heels too. I love how it has faux fur to give it an even more luxe look. In my closet I love statement coats and suede pieces like this suede skirt I wore in Napa. Everyone should have a little suede in their closet to pull out for events, and considering it is the perfect fabric for this time of year.
