Chic Thanksgiving Look

I can’t believe that Thanksgiving is only 3 weeks away! I did a poll on Instagram the other night to see if the majority of you have put out your Christmas decorations yet. I still personally have Hocus Pocus and Trick or Treat signs, and they will stay up until I get out the Christmas items. Pumpkins though for the most part can last throughout the entire month of November for easy fall decor that doesn’t take too much effort. One thing that you should stick to during this month is chic colors in clothing items that can go from either a causal look or a dressier look to host Thanksgiving. I have been loving Fall colors in shades like this marigold color. It makes a pop against any outfit, similar to when I wore this yellow sweater dress last year.

This blazer has been a repeat in my closet since I purchased it a couple of months ago. I love velvet items in the cooler months to give a luxe look that is unexpected. You don’t have to have a full on velvet dress, even though I think it is major glam. Incorporating a velvet blazer like this makes a chic Thanksgiving look. The great thing about this is that you can dress it down with your favorite jeans and booties for a casual look. You could throw it over a plaid dress if you wanted a little more dressed up vibe. I love the oversized vibe of this blazer which is even better when you know you will be indulging in some great Thanksgiving food. What are you all going to be doing for Thanksgiving?
