I still can’t believe that it is almost Summer! Where has the time gone this year? All I know is that it sure does feel like summer right now. I have my patio pretty much put together other than my bar cart and lights hung, and I am thinking it is about to get too hot where I won’t be able to enjoy it that much longer. Well I guess there is always a fan that I can buy for that as well. When it comes to outfits to wear in the Summer too I have to think strategically on what I am going to buy. I have pretty much stayed inside over the past couple of weeks when it has been about 100 degrees out, other than going to the pool once. The humidity has just been so hot and other than wearing a tank top and shorts, it is hard to find something that you can wear for all different occasions. When I was shopping for Savannah I knew I wanted to get items that were lightweight, but just thick enough that could be worn for different occasions. This stripe top that I spotted has easily become my new favorite Summer top. Between the stripes, colors, and ruched collar, the detailing is everything.

Stripes are that classic pattern that we all have at least one of in our closets. As you know I tend to buy some of this pattern and especially in a thick, but still lightweight fabric like this. There is so much you can do with stripes and mixing and matching is number 1 on my list to do. When I travel I like to be able to wear pieces that I can mix and match with different pieces for a whole new look by just changing my accessories. I am able to wear this top with my favorite new white skinnies like I did here, denim shorts, or even tucked into a high waist pencil skirt. The options are so endless and with the collar and material, it can be dressed up even more to be worn for other occasions.
