We all know that I love a good denim outfit! I think this is the most classic material that you can own, and I love when I pair denim on denim together like I did here. You can’t go wrong with this no matter what time of year it is. Speaking of year I still can’t believe that next week is going to be July 4th already. This is one holiday that always sneaks up on me like New Years Eve where I never have definite plans until the last minute. I will be going to Fredericksburg with my parents this weekend for a little getaway though. I haven’t been there in about 6 years so it will be nice to go to the Texas hill country and drink some great wine. When I get back on Monday evening it will be right before the 4th and I will have to make a decision fast on what I will be doing. I for sure know that I will be wearing some kind of denim. This goes with everything from a BBQ to a dressed up night watching fireworks and having a great dinner. When I was at Target today I spotted denim everywhere in the store from stars and stripes shorts to a denim dress like this.

You have seen me wearing this denim dress several times already on social media and I think it is the perfect little Fourth of July denim attire. I like little dresses like this that are casual, but that I can still throw on some wedges with and go out for dinner. There are actually several restaurants here in Houston that will be having a roof top party to watch the fireworks with a dinner and drinks, which sounds like the perfect combination in my opinion. Over the last couple of years I have stuck with a casual dress for this holiday like I did with this classic shirt dress last year. My favorite part about this denim dress are the little tassels in the front. It is little embellishments like this that make an otherwise classic dress that much better!
