Does anyone else get as excited as I do for Daylight Savings Time? That means more daylight after work which is a never a bad thing. During the winter months it can sometimes get pretty depressing when you go to work when it is dark and get off when it is dark. That is why I am loving this time of year and of course when I have more daylight during the day to go explore my new neighborhood and enjoy dinner on a patio with friends later in the day too. This past weekend I did a little Spring shopping because first of all I have a new place and second because I could not pass up all of the fun prints that are out right now. I stocked up on gingham, plaid, and stripes in blazers, dresses and pants. One print I love for Spring has to be gingham. I wore a similar dress in a classy shade of black this time last year that I still wear quite often. When I have gone to the rodeo the last couple of weeks I have to always wear this favorite ruffled gingham top that pairs well with everything. There is just so much you can do with this fun print.

When I saw this gingham wrap dress this past weekend I knew that I would be able to get a lot of wears out of it. Not only is it red which I do not have much of in my closet, but it is a classic style dress which is always a plus in my mind. I think wrap dresses are the most versatile style you can have for any season. There are so many fun colors out for Spring right now which a majority of them are the powder blue, lavender and pinks, but red is still always a classic color. My favorite part of this dress is the ruffle sleeves. You can never go wrong with a great statement sleeve to make an otherwise classic style that more trendy. I can’t wait to purchase some more Spring goodies including some wedges that I currently have my eye on!
