Girly Utility

Hi guys I am finally back after my 2 week trip to Europe! Saying it was so much fun is an understatement. I loved everything about it from the architecture, food, weather, and most importantly the traditions and views. I will be sharing my travel overview soon for Norway and France. In the meantime I have been trying to get back into the swing of things. I went back to work yesterday, and by the afternoon the jet lag finally hit me so bad. I think I ended up going to bed at like 8 pm which was so nice. Now I will also be planning trips that I will be taking this upcoming Fall. One of them will be for my 30th birthday and the other will be a mother/daughter trip. Another thing I am doing is not packing all of my Fall staples like this girly utility vest so that I can bring in a little rustic look into my outfits as well.

I think a military chic look is such a classic. Just like you have the trench coats and classic leather jackets, a military vest works more for the Summer time as you are grabbing dinner at night. Speaking of dinner, I think I ate some amazing food while in France and rose was basically sparkling water the whole trip. When I go to dinner, I like to wear either a fun print or keep it pretty neutral. This look with my favorite flared white jeans combines girly utility into a classic look that will work with every occasion. Adding in some fun heels like these snakeskin pumps adds another unexpected feel to this look. Mixing in some patterns like these shoes in snakeskin or leopard, tie in the overall neutral look. Now this is giving me some inspiration to go out in Houston this weekend!
