Hi everyone! This Monday came by way too fast but I am excited because it is Thanksgiving week and that means that it’s going to be short! I can’t wait to be relaxing come Wednesday night and all through the weekend. This past weekend I flew to New Orleans for one of my good friends bachelorette parties. That is always such a fun time and having girl time is so essential after college. I miss having those times at the sorority house where we would all be together and cozy up on a Sunday night and especially before the holidays. Even though it was bitter sweet, being cozy and in lounge wear is something that I still remember doing. This outfit will for sure be on my radar I think for the next month. I wore this cape early this year and wear it very often to work because it is so cozy when it feels like an iceberg at work.  I don’t know what it is but there is no such thing as a heater I feel like. This week I plan to bring this out to my parents when I am relaxing out there and be comfy. It reminds me of a fashionable snuggie, do you remember those? OMG I used to be obsessed!

I love how this blanket cape can be paired with simple jeans or leggings and booties or flats for a festive cozy look. What I love most about going home for the holidays is hanging around on the couch with my family and watching football or chick flicks with my mom. This look would be great for lounging around and helping your mom in the kitchen with all of her cooking needs as well. This year I will be helping my mom in the kitchen more and I get to do the desserts so I will need something comfy to wear if I get stressed out trying to measure everything! I like how this cape is one size fits all as it should be during this time of year. I can see myself wearing this with my favorite sneakers like I did in this athleisure look. One thing I love about sweaters/capes is that they can be cozy and stylish without having to think too much about your look. It would have been an otherwise basic look but with the addition of the cape makes it anything but basic.
