One trend that I have been seeing a lot lately is military chic. I don’t know about you but I think the military green and utility type pieces really make a difference in bringing this trend back in 2019. It is a timeless trend that never goes out of style. Since the weather is getting warmer out, we are starting to see some of the military cargo shorts coming back as we are moving into Spring. One thing that I love about this trend is that it can also be very professional as you mix and match pieces together to just give a hint of that military chic. You can keep it casual with an army green vest that is always going to be a staple piece, or you can bring in a little bit more chic with a simple sheath dress like I did here.

I am always one that looks for outfits that I can go from work to a happy hour setting in. The least amount of times that I have to change my clothes the better and more motivated I am going to be. Wearing a dress like this that is perfect for the office with a fun jacket over it helps bring this little trend to an every day work setting environment. I always think your shoe choice and accessories can really change any outfit up. I try to keep shoes that are trendy but practical like my favorite leather booties here. This is one of those outfits that can be mixed and matched with other types of clothing like black work pants and a silk blouse for another military chic look.
