Heading into Fall

I don’t know about you but I am so ready to be heading into Fall. Not that I don’t love the Summer and all outdoor activities and the pool, but the Fall is more of my jam. It is also my birthday which will be my 30th this year spent in Mexico, and I am loving the outfits 10 times more in the Fall. I don’t think my skin is cut up for these hot months either so I try to not have too much sun as well. One thing that I always look forward to are some new boots for this upcoming Fall weather. I typically pick up these type of staple items in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale which you saw in this post. As I have stated before when I buy new clothes I typically take one thing out of my closet to make room. This is so that I take more into account my favorite items, and so that I don’t have to buy new hangers. Now with boots and shoes, I should be using the same principle as well.

I have had these knee high boots for a while now and they are one of my favorites. The weather right now might not be wise to wear knee high boots unless you plan on completely sweating. Leather has been everywhere to be extra trendy in the Fall, which I can’t wait for. I just bought some faux leather leggings that are so comfortable to wear from lounging to out on the town. Another item that I love as you are heading into Fall are leather skirts like this one. Paired with little booties or even some wedges, you could even wear the leather skirts now. Leather has always been one of those materials that is so classic to pair during all seasons. It is all about the accessories that you pair with it to either have a Winter look or a Summer look. You should for sure add a leather item to your wardrobe this upcoming season 🙂
