Hopped off a plane at LAX……Doesn’t this title just make you want to bust out singing the Miley Cyrus song? That is how I felt when I wore this dress in LA. As you have seen before in this post , my trip to LA and Palm Springs was pretty amazing. I did enjoy Palm Springs a little more I feel, but did love LA as well. The night life in LA was something that was some of my favorite things to see while there. We got to enjoy some great restaurants and did pass by Sur, because I mean we had to while there right?! There was bright lights, the Hollywood sign in the distance, and lots of action all around. We had to stop and take a picture by this great neon sign while we were close to downtown. This was literally in a parking lot and I was so excited. I had only taken pictures at night one other time, so I thought this would be fun to do.

My favorite outfit to wear in LA was this pink slip dress. I wanted to go with something extra fun to wear that would be great for a night out. If you haven’t realized by now, the 90’s fashion trends are very much in style right now. Everywhere you look you will see some form of Clueless inspired plaid, platform shoes, or a bright color. I wanted to mix this look to be a little less dressy with some booties and my favorite denim jacket. Anytime you add denim to a look you can make it a little less dressy. These pieces are also staples in my closet that I have mixed and matched with lots of time in the past like here. Everyone needs to own a little bit of some 90’s inspired clothes, even if you didn’t hop off a plane at LAX.
