Happy April everyone! If you are anything like me then you prefer to bring out all of your light colored wardrobe pieces during this time of year. In Houston the weather has been going from cold to hot, and I honestly can’t keep up with the changes that are now happening on a weekly basis. This includes anything from wearing a jacket or just keeping a Spring dress on throughout the day. This is why I love pairing a light colored duster like I did for this outfit. I have had this for several years and it honestly goes with every season from pairing over a sweater and jeans, to throwing on over a dress and some shorts. The monochrome look is very trendy right now and I just love it throughout this warmer season. I have been seeing everything monochrome lately from bright pink to yellow. My favorite is personally on the lighter color scheme like this neutral white/cream set.

This is always one of those outfit combinations that provide a classic yet fashionable look that can be worn for every occasion. Just like your favorite Spring dress, an outfit that is monochrome all in one color palette is a great new addition to your wardrobe for this season. I will for sure want to pack something like this as I go to Europe in June. When outfits are in a lighter shade, it just screams that warmer weather is coming. Over the next couple of weeks I will be really busy as I get ready for one of my friend’s weddings and Easter. I will be going to Austin this weekend which I can’t wait for, just hope the weather is nice! I hope you all have a great weekend, and stock up on some monochrome pieces as well.
